    JPY 4,950(USD 31.28)

This art book features a collection of paintings by artist Momoko Tanizaki, created in the aftermath of the pandemic, using "insomnia and disorder" as central motifs. - Tanizaki explores human emotions and interpersonal relationships, primarily through painting—a medium that engages the body directly, as a counterpoint to today’s increasingly indirect modes of communication. Her work often captures mundane moments of everyday life and quiet expressions of affection. In recent years, however, she has begun to delve into the possibility of portraying darker, more morbid emotions and the negative aspects of human nature—not to reject them, but to embrace and reveal them as they truly are, in a positive and honest light. - Contents: Sleeve, Large booklet (22 pages, featuring paintings), 1 text card Sleeve dimensions: 400 x 520 mm Bilingual (Japanese/English) First edition of 50 copies

  • The Group Exhibition at Satoshi Ohno Studio 2018

    JPY 2,750(USD 17.38)

This is a documentary book of an open studio and group exhibition by painter Satoshi Ohno, held in August 2018 in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. The book also includes a critical essay by art critic Toshikatsu Omori.
